Thank you to the 300 participants who attended the European Chamber of Ireland event on Thursday evening at Byrne Wallace, making the event a great networking success.

Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs Eamon Gilmore underlined Ireland’s commitment to strengthen trade links with Europe and stressed the government’s determination to work hard to promote sustainable jobs and growth, and to grow trade with the partners in Europe.  The President and Patron of the European Chamber of Ireland Jack Golden highlighted the contribution Europe has made to the development of Ireland and stressed that 60% of everything this island produces is sold to trading partners across Europe, mainly within the EU’s single market.

The topical event was followed by the European Chamber of Ireland’s Summer Evening Party where guests took the opportunity for intensive cross-European networking while enjoying a European style barbecue and bar. The stunning rooftop terrace with views over the Dublin Mountains and Dublin City provided a fantastic setting and even the Irish weather played along. Summer feeling was added to the event by the acoustic band Manila Strings.

A special Thank You goes to the European Chamber Patron CRH and the exhibitors at the event Bank of Ireland, Swiss Airlines, Houseware International, Your Self Centre and Biofires Ireland without whom the event wouldn’t have been possible.

The next social event of the European Chamber of Ireland will be the first “Chamber Ryder Cup”, which will take place on 30th of September at the K Club, Kildare – a truly international Golf Outing with teams representing countries from Europe and the World.
For your reservation please contact us before Friday 9th Sept admin@irelandpoland.com or 087 3171960.
